Stevie
Vallance
Motivated
by the devastating loss of a close personal friend, Stevie conceived
and produced the critically acclaimed Divas For Life jazz benefit
concerts at The Vogue Theatre. Proceeds generated by the overwhelmingly
supportive Vancouver community were donated to Friends For Life,
an organization dedicated to supporting people living with life-threatening
illness. As a result, Stevie was honored with their 2002 Friend
In Deed Philanthropy Award. Read more in... One Diva's Story, LIFELINES magazine.
Also
an 'animal lover for life', Stevie is the co-host for the Toronto
Humane Society's documentary Fighting For Their Lives, which
airs regularly in the Toronto area.
